New website and NEW Blog

I am pleased to announce the launch of my new website.

***PLEASE NOTE**** My Art News blog is now featured directly on my website — I will no longer be updating this blogger site. To stay updated, please subscribe/resubscribe to my news blog (right column above search bar on home page or news page.)

Here are some of the highlights of my new site:

• There is a search button which allows you to search for anything on my site. You can search for an exhibition, or the name of an artwork — try it out!
• The site is now compatible with iPhone and iPads

Habitat -- Explorations of Home and Shelter in Contemporary Art

I have two paintings and two photographs in this exhibition opening February 24th until May 13, 2011 at the California Bank of Commerce in Lafayette, CA. The exhibition can be viewed Monday through Friday 9 am - 5 pm with an Opening Reception on Thursday, February 24, 2011, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Dave Bown Projects 1st Semiannual Competition

Dave Bown Projects is pleased to announce the results of the 1st Semiannual Competition, which was curated by Eva Frosch; co-owner of frosch&portmann in New York. This competition features images of the work of 25 contemporary artists. $5,000 USD (1st Prize: $2,500; 2nd Prize: $1,500; 3rd Prize: $1,000) will be awarded to SpY, Brad Nelson, and Allison Cortson, respectively.
